A popular claim making the rounds is that, in the US, Covid hasn't killed any children (or hardly any) while the flu has killed many more. Is this true?
What is known:
In the US, from 2019-2020, 166 children died from the flu with only 1 child dying from Covid during that time(1). Since then, from 2020-2021, it's switched significantly, with only one flu death(2) but over 300 children that have died from Covid-19(2).
